If you have not installed McGruff SafeGuard, click here for step-by-step installation instructions.

After the installation is complete, the McGruff SafeGuard recording software setup starts:

1. Enter your username and password.  This will be your sign-in for the McGruff SafeGuard website.
2. McGruff SafeGuard recording software verifies that it can access the McGruff SafeGuard website, and that personal firewalls or other Internet Security software doesn't stop McGruff SafeGuard from working.  For more information on personal firewalls and other Internet security software, click: Personal Firewalls and Security Software

When you install McGruff SafeGuard, you will see the McGruff SafeGuard icon on your desktop or, depending on your PC, also in the system tray:

If you are using McGruff SafeGuard Home, you have an option to remove the icon for 30 days.  After 30 days, you will need to upgrade to McGruff SafeGuard Plus for the icon to not reappear.

If you are using McGruff SafeGuard Plus, you can delete the icon and it will not reappear.
