During installation,
McGruff SafeGuard failed to connect to the McGruff SafeGuard Website on my
child's PCYour Internet security software
(anti-spyware or anti-virus or personal firewall) is preventing
McGruff SafeGuard from communicating with the McGruff SafeGuard
website.
Most Internet security software packages will pop-up a window
asking you if its OK for the program to access the
Internet. In this case, you need to answer ALWAYS ALLOW,
instead of DENY or BLOCK. If you answered wrong, McGruff
SafeGuard will NOT be able to function properly.
Some Internet security software packages are set, by default,
to ALWAYS BLOCK programs from accessing the Internet. In
this case, you need to tell the Internet security software
package to ALWAYS ALLOW McGruff SafeGuard programs to access the
Internet.
