• How do I set up AVG  to work with McGruff SafeGuard?

  If you have problems using AVG, start the AVG Internet Security Console and click Resident Shield.

  You will see a window similar to:

Click Manage exceptions, and you will see a screen similar to:

Click Edit Path, and you will see a screen similar to:

For XP, and 32 bit systems with Vista or Windows 7, enter:

C:\windows\system32\event agent\

For 64 bit systems with Vista or Windows 7, enter:

C:\windows\syswow64\event agent\

The screen looks like the following:

Click OK.  The screen should now look like:

 

Your installation should now proceed properly.
