- Are there any
issues with Sunbelt Software CounterSpy?
CounterSpy current detects McGruff SafeGuard as
"ChatChecker" incorrectly and identifies it as dangerous
surveillance software. We are working with Sunbelt to
resolve this.
Here's what to do:
- In the CounterSpy console, select Active Protection, and
tell CounterSpy that you want to Customize Response
Settings as Prompt for Action. Then click Save.
- Re-install McGruff SafeGuard. When you get a
prompt asking if you want to QUARANTINE / ALLOW / BLOCK
any of the programs used by McGruff SafeGuard, always select ALLOW
and click the box Remember this action:
