• How do I set up Sophos firewall to work with McGruff SafeGuard?

  Sophos will pop-up one of the following windows when McGruff SafeGuard monitoring software is first installed:

  In the following window, select REPLACE or ADD, and then click OK.

  

  In the following window, select ALLOW, and then click OK.

  

   

• McGruff SafeGuard starts but gets stuck or messages are not being shown at the McGruff SafeGuard website.

If you have accidentally set Sophos to NOT allow McGruff SafeGuard monitoring software, you need to do the following:

Open up Sophos Firewall configuration, and under Applications ensure the following programs are TRUSTED (they should NOT be listed as BLOCK).

Click here for a list of programs and websites that you should allow to have full access.

You can also look at Sophos Firewall configuration Processes and Checksums to ensure that these programs are not BLOCKED, and can launch other programs as need be.
