• How do I set up Webroot Enterprise  to work with McGruff SafeGuard?

  Download McGruff SafeGuard to your PC.  Instead of clicking RUN, click SAVE.  Specify a folder where to save it.  When the download is complete, do not click OPEN.  

  Click the Windows Start button, and then click RUN.  Drag the downloaded file (usually POPHOME.EXE) into the RUN box, and type in the following after the name of the file:

  -var:"installpath=C:\POP"

  The entire command in the RUN box looks like (make sure you include all of the double-quotes):

"C:\MyDownloadFolder\POPHOME.EXE" -var:"installpath=c:\POP"

Then click ENTER.  Instead of installing McGruff SafeGuard to the default location (which is not compatible with Webroot Enterprise), it will install McGruff SafeGuard to the location you specified (C:\POP).

Make sure you delete POPHOME.EXE from your download folder - its not needed.
