Setting up a Schedule |
|
McGruff SafeGuard Browser lets you control when your child is allowed to access the Internet. You can set specific times when its allowed; at all other times, browsing will be denied. This feature requires that you purchase the GOLD in-app upgrade. Switch the McGruff SafeGuard Browser into schedule mode by selecting PARENTAL SETTINGS, enter your parent settings password and touch SCHEDULE. Move the Enforce Schedule switch to ON. You will see the list of times when the browser is allowed to be used. Since you just turned scheduling on, there are no time periods listed, and the browsing will always be denied.
To add an allowed time period, touch ADD ALLOWED TIME PERIOD. Select the day (or days) of the week, the beginning and ending times, and touch ALLOW DURING THIS TIME:
You can repeat this for as many times as you want. You can mix and match an individual day of the week with day ranges; as long as the time period is listed, it will be allowed. In other words, let's say you specified Monday-Friday 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Tuesday 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. If its Monday at 4:30 PM, browsing is denied; Tuesday at 4:30 PM, browsing is allowed. When you touch BACK, you will see all the time periods you allowed:
If you specified a password is NOT required, you will see a login screen similar to: BACK: Frequently Asked Questions |
